HANDCLAPS,CLAPS CLAPS.

It’s Christmas fever. I’m in a dark room. My stolen internet connection is worthless. My family is going through some stuff. I love you all but I’m just not able to give this post all the detailing that it deserves. I hope that you are too busy with your own holiday festivities to care and can just kick back and enjoy this collection of jams for the interesting mix that they are. Dive in and enjoy. I know I’ve been.

TEACH ME HOW TO USE ''EPIC'' WORD

''EPIC''. i have heard this word a lot more than you can imagine. Not everything is epic, shitheads.I do learn about these word and plus i do ask my lecturer the word ''EPIC'',and she said that ''Literary epics are tales of heroism, and are often about voyages across other epic things, such as oceans''. I don't know every literary epic out there, but I know that getting "FRONT LAWN SEATS" sure as shit. That's it, Unless it's an ocean, cosmic or heroic, it's not epic.

So when you dipshits ascribe the word "epic" to banal things like the new Tron poster (not even the entire movie, just the poster), and children's games like "duck duck goose," you cheapen the word and water it down so it just becomes a sound you make, like a grunt when you approve of something..(i dont know what the fcuk am i saying). :D

in my opinion, using words like "epic" to describe how extremely impressed you are by everything has ruined the word. If everything is epic, nothing is epic.If i was wrong,PLEASE do teach me how to use "epic" word.

PEOPLE AREN'T STUPID

Stop Being an Idiot.I hear this phrase a lot, and even recently, out of my own mouth: “Users are stupid, so we have to dumb this down to the lowest common.” Stop it. Just stop it.. (i have read this articles) and my opinion is to teach people, don’t criticize them.People aren’t stupid. Really, they’re not. It’s possible they don’t have the same experiences you do, but that doesn’t mean they’re an idiot. Writing people off, and dumbing down utility in the name of stupidity is, well, stupid. Bring people with you, and provide them tools to learn and be successful.Exercise and Education, when you exercise, you stretch yourself. You get healthy by pushing past your existing level of fitness. You don’t succeed by dumbing down your workout. You push, you learn, and you get better. We educate users the same way. We must show, explain, and gently push our users to succeed.Simple, not Stupid

And don’t misunderstand. Keep things simple. But simple doesn’t mean stupid. Simple doesn’t mean boring. And simple certainly doesn’t mean standard. It means you can figure it out, even if it takes a minimal amount of thinking.1 1What’s interesting is that making something simple is significantly more difficult than making it complicated. Simple takes thought. It takes work, and lots of it.And here’s the real truth: If you’re dumbing down people around you, because you think people won’t ‘get it,’ you’re hurting the experience .Either way, you’re keeping people from learning, and that’s just uncool. So stop thinking people are stupid. Teach them, and let them succeed,if you let them, they’ll teach you a thing or two as well. :)

Ai WAS EiN THiE THiEATHiER

put u cellphone here

Have you ever been watching a movie in a theater or sitting at your desk trying to sneak a few minutes of work, all of a sudden someone's Cell phone goes off to the tune of screaming shit and the song from JONAS BROTHER ''LOVE BUGG SHIT""?I was at a theater the other day when suddenly some asshole's cell phone went off right in the middle of the movie!Since when did everyone in the universe need to be contacted at any given moment and anywhere in the world?! You'd think that turning a HANDPHONE off during a movie would be standard procedure out of courtesy and consideration of others, but apparently some thought otherwise.

The first three interruptions weren't that bad, as they quickly turned off their phones (after fumbling for 5 minutes, looking for the damn thing). The last one, however, was a complete DIPSHIT. This chick gets a phone call in the middle of a movie.. so what does she do? She takes the call of course. Not only that, but she sits there and talks to the caller!! Right in the middle of the movie, this jackass is exchanging phone numbers, addresses, greetings..hell, they probably even had high school flash backs.

You know.. it's bad enough that these dipshits are stupid enough to bring a cell phone to a movie, but then to top it off, they have a musical ringer! Nothing says "I'm an asshole" like your cell phone going off to "Phantom of the Opera" in a theater. Man, I hate people. Thanks to technology, I can experience the raping of all my classic favorites RUINED!I'm going to go out on a limb here, but is it just me or do people with musical ringers also have obnoxious laughs?and yes im full of hate right now.

It's not like going to the theater isn't bad enough to begin with. having to watch some jackass try to impress his date in front of you is enough to make me PUKE. Now give that jackass a cell phone?. Instant asshole. At least if you're going to bring a phone to a theater, have the decency to put it on silent mode.

thank you.

Band review (Discrimination Free)

At this point you're probably scratching your head and saying "Who is Switch Style and why is Chip posting this"?Well, this is my first time doing and write something like this.i've been write a lot of thing like (people i love, people i hate, surrounding, love, hate, current issues, crapy and shitty thing etc etc),and now im goin to try something new and i apoligize for the lack of content.i hope that i can share my little tiny effort with you people. The purpose of this blog is to promote the bands and their albums/Demo/EP/stuff and of course to follow up what are they doing on the future,i mean new project, new stuffs and so on. Most of the bands/albums posted here are stuffs that I like and listen to.. I'm just sharing them to let others know about these great bands and hopefully buy their albums and merchandise. If there is one thing I appreciate, its a band who puts effort into their releases. Whether it's a demo/EP or a label release, the effort a band puts into the release shows us how dedicated they are and how much they care about what they are doing. Distressed has shown me that there's a band out there with an agenda and a message that they want to spread.''music is a good medium for us to expose and express our feeling.this is just not about the music we playing, but its all about the message that we want to deliver''.So if you like a band, then go buy their albums/demo/EP so they can continue making more music for us to enjoy.I will not be responsible for people who will sell copies of the albums/demo/EP etc.etc I have posted here. Leave me a message on my shoutbox or E-mail Me if you want your materials posted on or removed from this blog.

DISCRIMINATION FREE

Discrimination Free (DF) was formed since 2008.DF was a Hardcore/Punk band that had a good deal of success. If you are a fan of Champion, Verse, Bane, Have Heart, Defeater, More Than Life, Modern Life Is War, Ruiner, Life Long Tragedy, The Effort or The Carrier, you should try to listen to their music.

Lyrically, the band continues dealing with topics they feel strongly about including the government but the fact they included a song about racism, political issues, fascistme is something that made me happy. I have felt that racism has made its way back into the hardcore scene, whether it be joking or not, and should be addressed on a grand scale. Its nice to see the band standing up for something that I agree with..well for me,music is a good medium for us to expose and express our feeling.this is just not about the music we playing, but its all about the message that their want to deliver. And yes,the upcoming project is split demo that will be release by the end of this year.As mentioned above, DF will do a split with 28 Days Later,a band from Tawau Sabah.content with 4 song from DF and 4 song from 28 Days Later.

''Discrimination free'' song list:
-Burn the fascist flag
-stay true
-Differences are not a license
-Out go the promises

unfortunately,i havent had the track yet.

Even though my actual involvement in the hardcore/punk scene in general is very limited now and confined almost exclusively to the internet, I am still VERY grateful to be involved in it. Music is by far my #1 passion in life and I am especially passionate about hardcore music being as how it's been a part of my life for a quarter of a century now. These guys could actually play their instruments and while there are quite a few chug chug parts, there are some nice leads going over them.you should see them LIVE!awesome i have to say.

current line up
iqram (vox), Ben (gitar), Tim (gitar), Anyoi (bass) dan Along (drum)

you can check this guy on myspace.

14 DECEMBER 2010

happy birthday to me

Is it just me or have all 20-something-year-old's I know have fallen into a state of constantly thinking we are too old for anything fun. Staying out 'til 3am drinking and dancing doesn't sound too appealing to me, especially since I'd rather spend my weekends without a thumping hangover. I'm just too old to be drunk at a club at 3 in the morning.dipshit.for some reason i'll never drink anymore. OK OK It's probably just me.wuuuhu.

14 December! there were several moments when the conversation was typical wacky for us and I thought, "Oh, I should remember that exchange and blog it." This morning of course it is all gone. I remember no specifics. Oh, well, I do remember the conversation about people getting old which included debate about whether my memory was being affected. I admitted to loss of hearing and grey hairs, but insisted my memory was this bad when I was 23.it was a great and best birthday party i ever had,the talking , the singing , dinner and everything.it was just PERFECT!

the truth is, though, I am not too old for anything. YOU are not too old for anything. We should not be held back by those numbers, damn it! OK. I'm not too old to do a jumping / flying shot on the beach with my older sister who is also not to too old!i was born at midnight maybe.haha.Random. I bet you didn't know I was born right at the stroke of midnight. Or well, at least that's what's written on my birth certificate. My mom says the clock they used as basis might (just might) have been a few minutes advanced.

The older I got, though, the more I realized I was not as intelligent as I thought I was. Good thing I also realized it was not the only thing that mattered in the world - that there were so many things much more important than IQ! Greet Me!.My whole life, my birthday always fell at the time of the year when everyone was busy. When I t was still birthday, december was finals exams, final projects, and final reports week or preparation dipshit. The worst one was when I was a high school Freshman and nobody at school knew/remembered my birthday at all. Fail!

But here is my self indulgent birthday post for you - all I ask for is a quick a simple greet on this, my special day. Yehey! I feel so lucky to have all of you!

im a survivor!

I spent my entire life trapped in a cage.thats the first thought i had in my mind. For a most students, the first week of college is a big fat tangle of emotions. You’re excited to be out on your own, nervous about what’s coming, maybe even a little homesick. The first night in my room with a new roommate its a little awkward.

the people in general are ''pfftttt''. some of them are annoying and cliquey and behave worse than most middle-schoolers. basically, you always have to watch your back because you can't trust anyone around here. i don't feel like i'm a particularly hard person to get along with, but the bottom line is that me and most of these people just have nothing in common. they don't get me and i don't get them, period.

one of THE most horrific parts of it all is living in a dorm. it's a complete culture shock to anyone who's never lived away from home before. prior to college, i was used to having my own room and a decent amount of privacy, plus everything i needed within a comfortable reach. here, i just feel lonely and lost. the rooms are extremely dark and tiny, the bathrooms and showers are disgusting, and there is zero privacy. oh, and let's not forget the outrageous cost of all of this. for all the money, we're paying, you think we'd get better. it's basically like a long, painful camping trip that takes "roughing it" to new heights.whoaahhhhhhoahh

But college isn’t so bad. Actually, it’s pretty awesome. I’ve been here for about a week.,the one good thing i will say for college is that i have liked all my teachers thus far and gotten pretty good grades (although i sometimes don't apply myself as much as i could). my teachers have all been interesting people who are awesome at what they do and clearly care about their students. if it wasn't for them, i wouldn't have one positive thing to say about this place!

IM A SURVIVOR!
